Brunsbüttel is about 20 miles up the Elbe river, which flows into the North Sea. You need to wait for an ebb tide in order to get down the river easily. Many boats stack up in this little marina. When we first arrived, we were the second boat from the wall. Before it was over, there were 3 more boat outside of us.
