This brick and half-timbered house was typical of many of the building in Rudkobing, Denmark.

In front of this building was a hedge maze.

As we got farther south, we began to see these types of navigational markers. They are called withies. If the brush is pointed up, it is a Port side marker. If they are tied down, it is a Starboard side marker.
