The canal had rough stone walls going through the various locks. Here I'm rigging some fender boards to give added protection to the side of SUGILITE.
 

The very first town was Mem. It basically consisted of just this one building.

The first big town was Soderskorping. There were a lot of ice cream parlors throughout the town.
