Zonguldak is the provential capital and a center for coal mining. Here a wall list the miners killed in the coal mines since the late 1800s. There are a lot of names.

We met Hakam when we were trying to get some water in Amasara. He spoke English was the cousin of a local fisherman. He was just married a couple of days before and they were on their honeymoon.
We offered to take them out on a day sail. They had never been on a sailboat. Looks like they enjoyed it.
