We met Hakam when we were trying to get some water in Amasara. He spoke English was the cousin of a local fisherman. He was just married a couple of days before and they were on their honeymoon.

We offered to take them out on a day sail. They had never been on a sailboat. Looks like they enjoyed it.

The ice cream in this part of Turkey has the consistency of taffy. This vendor is showing how elastic his ice cream is to a potential customer. The more elastic, the better.
